Poignant images of what endometriosis feels like. 17 women have opened their lives and experiences to articulate the impacts of endometriosis on their lives. I thank them for their courage and boldness in articulating often difficult, sometimes painful impacts. It's taken me 5 years of listening to their concerns. My images say things that are difficult to say in words. They can communicate with ordinary people about the seriousness of endometriosis. It is my hope that these images show people what endometriosis feels like so our community has more compassion. My goal is that governments provide more money for research for diagnostic tools, better treatments and a CURE.
